Tracking Your Progress

For the last while, EPOC (post exercise oxygen consumption) and HRV (Heart rate variability) have come to light as a great way to monitor training efficacy- both in terms of undertraining and overtraining alike.

Joel Jamieson from www.8weeksout.com has been speaking extensively about the benefits of tracking EPOC and HRV.

Suunto (watch manufacture) has put out a watch to help athletes track these variables without the need of testing within the laboratory setting!
