First day went great! The rep tempo feels amazing- Huge pumps
Tempo is 4,0,1,0 unless otherwise stated and rest between supersets is 3 minutes.
Flat Barbell Bench Press 4×12 (145lbs) It was crazy that 145lbs was too much in the last set. I only got to ten reps!
Machine Pec Fly 4×20 (20lbs) The blood pump was so intense doing these. 20lbs seemed harder than flys I’ve done in years.
45-degree Incline Dumbbell Press 5×15 (30lbs)
30-Degree Incline Dumbbell Pec Fly 3×15 (20lbs)
One-Arm Alternating Cable Pressdown 4x 15,12,10, 15 +NOS (20lbs)
1 Minute REST
Reverse Grip Triceps Cable Pushdown 4×15 (10lbs)
Incline Lying Barbell Triceps Extension (“skull-crushers”) 3×20 (10lbs + bar)
Triceps work seemed to hit the long head more than any other part. By the end of the workout my triceps were so pumped that I could feel them resting against my lats/ribs. Crazy!!
Supplements continue to be ABE 2caps twice per day, 1 serving Ergonine and 2 scoops of protein in the morning.
